It's uggly but it's necessary
The keys to iterative user-centric design
Planning & requirements
Your design should always do TWO things: support a user in completing a task AND support the business in achieving a goal.
User
What problem is the user having? What’s negatively affecting their experience? What problem are you trying to solve for them?
Business
What problem is the business trying to solve?
How is success defined and measured?
What are the key performance indicators, or KPI’s?
Outcome
Termed "One Doodle," this concept was utilized to communicate and define the current product strategy, influencing the direction of the design system at Doodle. By crafting the initial design concept, we communicated a product vision that would guide and support a technically feasible product strategy.
