Problem
Doodle, a globally recognized productivity tool with over 30 million Monthly Active Users, set out to consolidate its user experience and the mental model its presented to its user in order to solve their various scheduling needs. As multiple product teams pursued their distinct objectives, fragmented communication and prioritization of speed over quality, usability, and consistency resulted in a disjointed product experience and mounting UX debt.
Solution
At the design level, disparate teams crafted each element of the end-to-end flow, leading to inconsistencies in design and implementation across common elements. This caused confusion among users regarding the perceived value of the different meeting types and, incidentally, their subscriptions.
